I will give it a 3/5. I suspect a nicer spring/summer walk. Today was very muddy but still pleasant.

I found the middle section along the canal quite dull (around Trafford). I didn’t find that part particularly tranquil or scenic this time of year. The beginning and end brought the score up for me personally. I did find the Go Jauntly directions extremely helpful which was a bonus.

Is capital spending really what the hospice sector needs? Or is it fairer, equitable, transparent and recurrent funding from NHS Integrated Care Boards? Hospice expenditure is mostly people, not things.

I can’t rejoice at this assisted dying bill. Where is the humanity? After sitting as a justice of the Supreme Court, and having seen friends struggle with end-of-life choices, Jonathan Sumption believed the law should change. But he feels the new bill is over-engineer...
