Today's progress: I made laser bass cats with FM Drum. By accident. It's awesome. No clue how I'll use it, but still. It's friggen hilarious, awesome, and what the fuck all at the same time.

That's a surprisingly small amount of space it takes up without the backpack/boosters!
If I ever do get that kit, I'll try to make sure there's somewhere I can display the whole thing, in it's entire silliness, because it's just so... Well, epic and silly at the same time! I am tempted by it every now and then, it's just... That's a LOT of kit.
But also, red and orange Zaku, so...
anthropomorphic carnosaur wielding a mask and a mace. Adorned in tribal wear such as feathers, fangs, leather and beads. a large dragon skull mask in her hand and a triceratops mask on her hip
Tarnish! A tough and voluptuous Carno dino. She wields masks that manifest the abilities of defeated enemies. A commission for a wonderful friend that I'm able to bring to you all as a public release!

Indeed. I swear it's as big as a Perfect Grade box. Also, there's the backpack, which the thrusters are bigger than my full sized keyboard, so I've heard...
I still kind of want it, but I think by that point I'm probably going to try and get some of the Hexa Gear kits I've wanted...
The other reason was I didn't want to carry said gigantic box around for several hours, and also, there isn't room in my closet of kits. Yeah, I'm still working on the name, I technically can't call it the shelf of infinite possibilities anymore since it's a closet now, so it doesn't feel right.
Walked into my local gunpla store yesterday, and despite them having a few models I've been tempted by, somehow* none came home with me. @dr-robonator.bsky.social would be proud.
*Part of the reason WHY I didn't is, well, just how freaking GINORMOUS the MG Psycho Zaku Ver.Ka box is!
And for those who are curious, the holder is by Clockspring: www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-pr...
Current one is printed with Sparta3D sparkle ABS, but will be replaced with black and neon orange parts printed in Polymaker ABS because black and a reddish orange are my colours!
An Elektron Digitone II on top of a Clockspring Planetary Ptablet Platform, with a foamcore mockup of an Arturia MiniFreak in front of it.
After a year and a half of saving up, I finally have one in my paws! Syntakt was definitely tempting, especially at $200 CAD off, but I love the shenanigans one can get into with FM even more. So happy to swap out a foamcore mockup for the real thing, and it also fit better than expected too!
Before writing someone off as lazy, try asking yourself "Are they just depressed?"
Because if you go up to a depressed person and call them lazy, you're just being an asshole.
I've got my eyes on the Tie Bomber they announced.
Oh wow, plastic stones that are matte, that's not all that often you hear such! I've been debating between picking up some Yunzi or glass stones.
And I agree, stones get expensive fast, as do boards.
What kind of stones, out of sheer curiosity? Also, whoo, 9x9 boards!
I'll go with... MG Psycho Zaku Ver.Ka as my guess.
I'm rather happy with how things are looking with this W'adrhun Scion of Conquest as I block in the basic colours, especially that pink flame-smoke, whatever it is. Like usual, I start my painting with a fairly loose idea of a colour or two, and refine from there.

What's odd to me is it feels sort of like a bit of a mimicking of the GSI Creos type branding, but maybe that's just me. All I know is it's sad to see them slowly retiring the Citadel naming range, since it's been known for so long.
Painted miniatures of little impish demons in a Japanese fantasy style
The Shikigami from @parabellumgames.bsky.social Yoroni faction. Painted last weekend on the #ColorsofConquest twitch stream!

Their stores have been Warhammer stores in the UK for a while now, so I'd suspect it's happening at some point.
This is so, so so so so so so sooooooo fucking good! Really does remind me of early 2000's Albino Black Sheep and RatherGood content, but especially "Gay Bar" and "Chill Out". Those were awesome days.
Also, of course I love foxes, and I'm not biased at all about this!
Okay, this is just fucking awesome.
Reminds me so much of Joel Vietch (RatherGood), especially around the release of the "Gay Bar" video, but also "Chill Out"
I do not apologize for sharing this.

I'll be on the watch for the attack of the giant letter C, assuming clouds aren't going to steal the show.

PanO has a lot of lovely models, many with sweeping capes and swords too!
(totally cheeky) ...They also make GREAT target practice! (I main Haqq, with Yu Jing as my secondary force)
Front view of a heavy infantry Ariadna suit, wielding a heavy shotgun and Trench Hammer
Rear view of a heavy infantry Ariadna suit, wielding a heavy shotgun and Trench Hammer. Still a fair bit of things needed to be painted on the back.
Better photos of the Ariadna "Ratnik" I'm painting for hubby's Infinity force. It has a ways to go, but at least I've blocked in the basics under his instructions of "purple and blue". Naturally, the missiles are orange, because of fox reasons (I like orange).

*blinks a few times* I think it's also kind of hilarious that Canadian National is "Moving America". I miss the Noodle (dragon) scheme, even if the previous CN stripes was a thousand times better, but I also grew up around that, so maybe I'm slightly biased.
of FM synthesis that's going to be a tough order, doubly so with all the other tricks the Digitone II brings to the table, but there's also that $200 CAD cheaper sale going on right now (was $250 CAD, but prices dropped recently) that makes it quite the tasty and tempting option. 2/2
Short version of it all though, is that I'm rather fond of how Elektron's UI is, and each device feels fairly focused. Tough part is going to be whether or not this upcoming update makes the Syntakt deep enough to coax me to pick it as my first device instead of the Digitone II. Given my love 1/2
