This has been the most amazing trip!

I lose two hours today. Woke up missing one, fly home across time zones missing another. This may be a very short, very long day.

Heading home today. This trip has been life-changing. The hospitality was incredible. The opportunity to learn, grow and help other people, too. Everyone has been warm, kind, helpful, accepting.

I am going to miss the people. Won't miss the noise or traffic. Thank Thor I didn't have to drive!

I have had to miss NHRL today but someone will see again due to my efforts. Someone gave the gift of sight so two people can see.

So so so grateful for donors and their families.

For doing a week of intense training, I am surprised at how much of The Brier I have been able to watch. Super early mornings and just after work. Made this work trip much more pleasant!

It's basically joking about how even when you finally get enough sleep, you somehow wake up with neck and back pain like your body is saying good job but terrible technique.

My body hurt all night long.

Now I know why.

Fourth training day complete. I dropped a cornea instead of getting it in the chamber.

I cried. Someone won't see because I messed up. But I went on...

I then successfully recovered three corneas that will help people see again!
