Very glad to see Universal Jurisdiction over Core International Crimes: Law & Practice (Elgar, eds. Yanev & van der Wilt) finally published. My chapter explores the concept—and the many conceptions—of universal jurisdiction.

Out now in JICJ: I explore how role theory sheds light on the conflicted, ambiguous role of international criminal judges—where adjudication, administration & diplomacy collide. Disqualification proceedings offer the lens. Open access: academic.oup.com/jicj/advance...

Thanks, very helpful! I am just starting out, but I would be happy to be added as well.
Happy to be involved in this international and interdisciplinary project on a very topical subject. I was able to kick things off last year with an intervention on imprisonment for unpaid fines in Germany: crimlrev.net/2023/09/24/a...

My sincere thanks go to the Centre's management, faculty, admin staff, and PhDs for the warm welcome and for an enriching experience throughout. Looking forward to carrying these experiences forward and staying connected with the many knowledgable and inspiring people I've met.
A few days ago my research stay at the UofT's Centre for Criminology & Sociolegal Studies (@CrimSL_TO) as a Visiting Junior Fellow came to an end. It was an amazing time at the Centre and I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to also share and discuss parts of my work.
