yeah! refusing meat is understandable, but refusing to pick vegetables in the face of death is odd to me, especially when a lot of plants WANT to be eaten so that their seeds can spread. one has to wonder what happened to the thoughts of all the scientists who understand ecosystems & sustainability

I just doubt they're going to find a good solution in time & to me it signals that the hivemind is overriding some human reasoning when they refuse to do the non-murderous methods we already have (i.e. farming) that 90% of humans would've been okay with
