i spent the last week in the beckett archive at reading university as this year's samuel beckett creative fellow. it was intense, confusing, sometimes disturbing, sometimes boring, strangely exhausting, none of which are bad things. i couldn't photograph beckett's handwriting/manuscripts so here's:

Today is the day! Record your day and be part of recording queer lives and histories in the UK. Sketch, type, write, or photograph your day. Even if you think your day isn't very interesting we'd still love to have it in our collection! All types of days, boring or brilliant are welcome #LGBTplusHM

IMPORTANT pls RT

My online novel seed-story.com is loading sporadically/not at all

The servers belonged to Google Creative Labs Sydney (now apparently defunct)

If anyone reading worked there/knows someone who did pls get in touch urgently so this pioneering work of digital literature can be saved

I've been invited by 3 UK universities to speak about Amateurs! and they've all had to withdraw their invites as departmental cuts mean they can't even pay expenses.

« At its best it was around 20 years of people making works that altered the way art was made, who had access to make it, and the way it circulated and was received; works that changed the ways we see the world »

what an insult to every artist's work that they will have to reapply every 3 years for a lottery that, however hard they work, and however much they (as the statement emphasises) 'produce', they may never win
