Are you coming back to misty Yorks for Easter?
Are you coming back to misty Yorks for Easter?
Did you see anything to recommend?
I remember 😉
Good morning. Terrible nights sleep. Would plan to have a nap this afternoon but stepdaughter is coming. We’ll find somewhere for lunch I think.
Weather is grey and overcast, at least it’s not raining.
That does look amazing. Can’t see how I can get there before it closes though. ☹️
Treecreepers are difficult to spot, they are so well camouflaged against the tree bark. Good luck when you go back with your stool and binoculars.
I find myself standing/sitting for ages trying to find the birds Merlin has told me are nearby.
Morning all #SORCS. Grey and misty here. Good to chat to people at the church coffee morning yesterday. News from Tad residents is they are hopeful the flood defence plans will be passed before the April deadline🤞
Managed to get all of the ironing done in the afternoon. Paperwork to sort out today.
Just got off the phone after Sec of State of Energy, Ed Milliband, called to discuss in detail the problems people are facing with home energy bills & heating oil. Here's what I fed through. YOUR feedback would be useful...
“Winston Churchill did intervene in Iran and we are living with the consequences of that today”

It doesn't matter whether it was America or Israel, or what the reason was. This was a war crime. Someone should go to jail.
Why isn’t Michael Gove, (+ many others), being investigated for Misconduct in Public Office?
This isn’t a hallucination, Michael Gove. You’ve never explained the millions you disbursed to buddies with your crony Covid Contracts.
Cashing in on the worst public health crisis in a century should disbar people from public life permanently.

Of course the pandemic colours early 2020s data
But what’s beyond doubt is something that always used to go up began to stall before Covid hit — as this long view chart shows
The daily Mail does not work in this country’s best interests. Far right groups like Britain First ran fund raisers and made large sums from the ‘raise the colours’ campaign off the back of gaslighting scare tactics, hate rhetoric and the demonising of asylum seekers and minorities.
The GP came to see him when I was there one afternoon. She said it wasn’t a diagnosis she had ever seen before. Must be quite rare.
diagnosis for her husband. He has a Metastatic Neuroendocrine Tumour. It’s something of a blessing her eyesight is poor and she can’t see just how dreadful he looks. He’s too fragile for any aggressive chemo, is refusing to go to the Oncology Centre in Leeds, not sure what he can be offered now.
Morning all. Fed the cats at some unearthly hour and have just woken up again. Yesterday freezing cold, a bit of a shock after the mild few days we had at the beginning of the week.
Taking Village Friend to the coffee morning at the church. Following an MDT between H’gate and Leeds they now have a
I hope the surgery goes to plan and your daughter makes a swift recovery. I’m sure she’ll be in good hands. Will you be needed to help when she’s home?

Morning xx
🤞🤞🙏 good luck.
Cats must be suffering Spring Fever, they wake earlier each day. I don’t even think the birds have begun their chorus yet and it’s still pitch black out there.
It has certainly lifted my spirits to have seen the sun this week. I hadn’t realised just how depressing the constant rain has been.
🧵Today is the 6th anniversary of my Covid symptoms, which I spent in an almighty Long Covid crash. I had been exposed to Covid, needlessly, by my employer. The illness forced me out of my job. I got a new one as soon as able. I was reinfected at work just as I was getting better, now getting worse.
Just a quick P.S. There were no Taste the Difference Rhubarb Hot Cross Buns in my little Sainsbury’s yesterday 😕
Hope there was a good turnout for your craft group yesterday. A chance for socialising and talk of other than anything Trump related.
Morning CiF. Cats woke me at 5.30 I have tea and will soon be closing my eyes for more sleep.
Good day yesterday for getting a few things done..some that weren’t on my list 😅
Zoom Yoga this morning.
Watching Rev Rich Coles Sailing the Shipping Forecast. Feel a visit to the Faroe Isles is needed 🤔
