NINTENDO! GIVE ME A MARX AMIIBO AND MY MONEY WILL BE YOURS!
Beautiful moment on Raimi's commentary for the first Spider-Man
every shot-on-video, made-with-a-camcorder horror movie that's just some teenage friend group fucking around in the woods with some fake blood and a monster mask contains more artistic merit, human joy and creative light than anything AI has ever made or will ever, ever make

aw man i got excited thinking this'd be a kill count for the hitcher.
but hell yeah i'm looking forward to seeing what you and chelsea thought of this movie :)
i have this movie on a 4K disc. it's fucking incredible.
oh thank god I've found the part of bluesky that agrees that Aronofsky is a talentless hack.
I assume with the Dartboard, the pressure from the darts wouldn't be enough to accidentally activate the switch?
i would argue it's way more confusing than saw or ESPECIALLY elm street.
i mean with elm street we got 6 main movies in a row, one debatably canon spinoff with jason, a really good meta horror movie about freddy and a remake. that's it.
the only real question is if Freddy Vs Jason is canon.
I had spoken to Dave on a few occasions and he was one of the nicest people I've spoken to online. He was a really genuine guy and I always enjoyed speaking to him and seeing his art.
Fly high Dave, your presence has already been sorely missed.
seriously it's busted
this image took forever to load so it was a real experience seeing it gradually reveal itself.
i'm really good at both but SUCK at puyo puyo tetris' combined modes.
Yall fw fat bitches? Go my tomoko
Here was my first week watches!
Hyperbole is often used to illustrate a point in speculative fiction. I don't think Fritz Lang believed it would quite be like that, but it's easier to convey class disparity in a silent film by having it depicted this way.
people misinterpreting Metropolis based on a single minute from the film. "wow they got 2026 so wrong we're all worried about AI while they thought we'd be living in a utopia" WATCH THE MOVIE. THAT'S LITERALLY THE PLOT OF THE MOVIE.
that's literally the plot of the movie. the 1% are replacing the arts with humanoid machinery and keeping those below them working underground.
literally the plot of the movie is that the 1% are trying to replace the arts with humanoid machinery while keeping those below them doing backbreaking manual labor for no pay.
You missed the part literally immediately after this we cut to the "worker's city" underground where 99% of the population lives and is forced to do excruciating manual labor for 12 hour shifts.
THAT'S the more accurate part.
plugins are awesome!
yoooo you used filmora too? the app got so filled with AI slop that i've had to modify the program to remove that shit.
i'm not paying for another editing software and i'm not learning another one unless i really have to. i can work this shit program better than anything else lol.
with public domain day nearing closer, i feel like i should make something for it as i've done the past 2 years, but godDAMN i get really sick of people writing these projects off. I'd rather a million indie films where mickey mouse says the fuck word as opposed to the rules of depiction disney has.
Not to mention, it's a pain in the ass to stream blu-ray quality video over the internet, so that probably wouldn't be the case. Unless the manufacturers are putting maybe 8 episodes total on each disc, I don't get it.
Y'know, I genuinely have no clue. If it was a single movie being a super large file, that'd make sense because blu-ray discs and 4k discs are largely designed for movies with high bitrates. But with TV shows, they generally compress the files more to fit more episodes on each disc.
I was half convinced they'd leave once they realized it was a wacky extremely queer independent film. But by the end of the film, i overheard them saying things like "Wow! that was a good movie! Quite odd though."
In short, Some elderly Canberran Women enjoyed your movie, as did my partner and I.
At an Australian screening of The People's Joker, My partner and I were one of only two small groups in the screening (this was the middle of a tuesday last november i think)
The only other group there was a group of elderly people that i was half convinced thought they were seeing Joker 2. (1/2)
Sorry for missing last week! Some pretty major things have been going on in my life, so this week i'm doing a completely indulgent single film recommendation in Dawn Of The Dead. #bluray #filmrecommendation #movies #dawnofthedead #zombies
You gotta watch the hudsucker proxy
