It gets romanticized sometimes, but having a BPD FP is actually the worst. It's just emotional dependency to an extreme degree. It isn't fun.

I've found that in my 30s, I don't have the BPD experience of a Favorite Person anymore. I'm so glad I've at least recovered that much from my mental illness. Having your emotional state be entirely dependent on Some Douche is TERRIBLE.

Just weaponize your own split response.

Live in Split City for a minute, and then you're done, split on that asshole forever and they are no longer your concern. No more of your emotional health depending entirely on a complete tool.
