Starting a new medical school is fun. I hired my first faculty member 6 months ago. She is a wonderfully bright pharmacology professor. Great teacher, wonderful researcher...

...then today I found out she doesn't like Ted Lasso...

Guess I'll have to fire her and look for a new pharmacologist..

It's like the worst game of "Stop hitting yourself" ever...

This played out how I expected once UM’s emotional surge faded. Overall I’m not too disappointed, over the past 5 years we went 3-0 when the two teams were fairly even and 1-1 when OSU was a far better team.

Had I gone into any other career than one dealing with college kids on a daily basis, I might still be a ravenous fan of rivalries

It’s a good game. OSU is clearly better, but Michigan is hanging in. But the OSU defense is too good when they get close…tough to win settling for field goals.

Still, Michigan is playing with 3 freshman on the O-Line and Michigan has already run for over 100 yards. Bodes well for the future

OSUhas figure out that Michigan’s defense is tough against the run and against the obvious long pass…but they can’t defend the 7-10 yard pass…that bite on the short hitch for the TD pass was Ryan Day exploiting that. He’s a freakin’ good coach, despite the results of this game the last 4 years

It’s the Dems fault for having shitty messaging…and for being in bed with health insurance companies just as deep as the GOP is.

The MAHA movement was created specifically to capture those blue voters disgruntled by the lack of movement on health outcomes under the guise of “see, evidence based medicine is not working…come to our side and we’ll get your naturopaths into medical care…”

Yeah…when I was at Michigan this game made or broke my mood for weeks (luckily for me, OSU just hired this guy named John Cooper…) but since I became a college professor 25 years ago and saw first hand the maturity of 18-21 year old kids, I am much less emotionally affected by the results

While we are on different sides of this, OSU’s defense is just too good…Michigan just wasted a great opportunity to punch it in and get into the Buckeyes’ heads.

6-0 is moe than 4 pts away from 10-0 in this case

Kings Island is fun too…not quite Cedar Point level, but the 10yo loves it. We’re hitting the Winterfest thing there coming up

So far, yes, mostly good. Not nuts about some of the things moving through the statehouse, though. But CoSi is definitely a gem!
