Just to clarify for people reading: No vaccine will keep you from getting COVID. The baby is not immune or something. Vaccines are great and reduce symptoms and *somewhat* reduce viral load but they also wane in efficacy after like 3 months & that’s supposing that the strains the vaccine targets are

Why are more than 300 people in the US still dying from COVID every week? Last month, an average of about 350 people died each week from COVID, according to data from the CDC. With available vaccines and treatments, why are people still dying?

They’ve restricted COVID testing & reporting… so it’s safe to say those numbers are an undercount (and they don’t include the thousands being disabled)

Do they urge mask use? Clean air? No. They restrict vaccines:

It’ll be something to see how this summer’s temperatures impact areas most affected by the year’s tornadoes now that so much tree cover has been lost. These are big, old trees coming down.

In the days leading up to the tornado that has killed 5 in St. Louis many areas around the city/county had siren tests. Yet when the tornado was sweeping through the area they didn’t go off at all??

There’s no rationale for this ignorance any more. There are thousands of credible studies. There are thousands of online advocates trying to hand-feed people basic information on transmission and risk. There are thousands of news articles. If you still don’t get it, you just don’t want to.

You hear excuse a lot from people who KNOW that they should be masking during the ongoing pandemic but “no one else is doing it!”. Weak ass argument when you can directly be responsible for someone’s death or disability bc you “didn’t know” you were asymptomatic

Hey it’s long covid awareness day! I’ve had long covid since one mild infection in 2022, and here’s what to be aware of:

It sucks, and there is no cure.

I’ve been on bed rest for a week and had to take time off work because I’m in a crash. Under no circumstances should you keep trying to get this.

How people can recognize that this guy’s take is eugenics but then justify not wearing a mask in public spaces & “going back to normal” in the ongoing pandemic bc “covid is only dangerous to high risk people” and “Biden said I could stop masking” is beyond frustrating.
