When two co-authors (the other is @peterschulte.bsky.social) agree on the argument but not on one of its premises…
Is that collaboration or a thought experiment gone wrong? 🤔
Come see how it unfolds at @MeReX 2026 next week at TU Berlin 🧠📄

This case is insane:
ICE shot and killed a citizen last March then *hid it for a year.*
The young man they killed had no criminal history.
All we know about shooting is from internal ICE docs.
We don't know officers' names.
We don't have footage.

The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

New paper: Is Millikan's biosemantics a consumer theory? THE ANSWER MIGHT SURPRISE YOU!

Finally reading @peterschulte.bsky.social Mental Content in my summer project to work through some Cambridge Elements. It is extremely well written: straightforward but nonetheless teaching important distinctions and arguments without unnecessary complexity.
Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated! Glad to hear that you find the Element useful 🙂

Dear Volodymyr Zelenskyy, dear Ukrainian friends, you are not alone.
You beat me to it 🙂Thanks for the endorsement!
Check out this paper that I completely agree with: @marcartiga.bsky.social, @peterschulte.bsky.social & Nir Fresco argue against @harrif.bsky.social and Justin Garson's thesis that proper functions must be proximal functions.
