We're taught very early that a meal is an individual thing, and sharing a dish tends to be either seen as weird, or very intimate.

Even more, the leads are actively pushing the narrative that they are "a small team" (discounting the 300 outsource credits) and used "limited resources" (millions of $) when talking to the press/in public. It's not just being complicit, but a conscious choice.
Maybe a bit longer than 90 minutes but ENA Dream BBQ has been a darling of mine and one of the highlights of the year

I'm Astride, trans lady, professional game designer/writer/programmer, and a bundle of weirdness.

And, well, I'm currently in dire need of being hired, so every bit of visibility helps
With ep6 insistence on the normality wave, I hope there will be some resolution that will breathe life into the F&C universe again by giving them some whimsy and personality.
But I can't fathom how both plots can connect, it feels very messy and that it should have been two different shows/seasons
Even more, the Huntress plot makes me feel like I'm watching both a slice of life AT spinoff, and a new AT season, which I would enjoy, but because they are happening at the same, they both lack room to breathe and even progress, while clashing with each other
Just done watching the ep, I think the core issue is the end of S1.
As in, without the magic, Fionna's world feels drained of everything interesting, even in terms of personality.
Kinda like the characters became more one note when the world got normalized.
