Research participants needed! Are you an autistic college student studying education? I'm an autistic researcher seeking participants for a study about the experiences of autistic students in teacher education programs. What's involved? Completing at least two 90 minute interviews through your preferred communication method. Attending at least one virtual focus group with other autistic pre-service teachers. Completing a brief demographic survey. All interviews and focus groups will be conducted flexibly based on your communication preferences and needs. Who can participate? You may be eligible if you: are a college student (undergrad or grad) enrolled in a teacher education program. If you're completed or are currently enrolled in a field experience (ex. pre-prac, practicum). You identify as autistic (formally diagnosed or self-identified). Are 18 or older. Additional information: Participants will be compensated at $30/hr for their time. Participants with additional marginalized identities, including nonspeaking individuals and AAC users, are especially encouraged to participate. Want more information?
