Hah. I mean itβs been over a decade since I saw it in SF. But I said that from what I remember itβs bringing stage to screen pretty well. But that it definitely differs from the book, which is more sexual. I didnβt think sheβd appreciate grabbing the book and not being prepared for that.
Also, this movie is making me reconsider my Mt. Crushmore to add Jonathan Bailey to the imaginary stone carving.

As I was humming to the credits, a woman said, βSounds like you know the soundtrack.β And then admitted she knew nothing going into the film. She then asked if todayβs political climate affected/changed it or if thatβs how it was when it debuted.
Iβm one looking for peace and hope to bring a bit more of it in this world, especially through my work with children. Theyβll lead the world someday and I pray that the work I do can plant seeds of peace that extend beyond each of us.
