I just started playing Xenoblade Chronicles and man. like this game is working with wii level graphics but it blows most modern open world games out of the water because it actually cares about design and style! who cares about realism I want something thatβs actually fun to look at

If you mean journey in a different sense, then a Pokemon or a Dragon Quest would probably be your best bet. A ton of options to pick from in both series, but both serve as great intros to the genre and are historically important.
In Stars and Time is one of my recent favorites. The combat system being based around rock paper scissors I think would be a good intro, and it's doing a lot of interesting things with story and character stuff!

both dragon quest builders games are truly incredible and pokopia seems to have a lot of that dna in it!

30 Pikachu relaxing around a large green water hot springs there's tangerines oranges floating in the water. Some of the Pikachus are holding them or eating them. There's a extremely large Pikachu in the back resting over a walking platform. On that platform, there's Pikachu waiter holding a tray of ketchup bottle with some cups to serve to the other Pikachus.
