I just spoke with an officer at the Dodge County Jail in Wisconsin who said he didn't have a record of a Sundas Naqvi being checked in tonight.

This is the third day in a row of midnight rolling around and me going "WOW WHY AM I SO HUNGRY, GOD IM A GLUTTON" and then I look back at what I consumed during the day and it was like 5 slices of turkey, a tomato, and 10 deep breaths of fresh air.

It's the middle of the night in Chicago. Reporters and electeds are trying to figure out why a US citizen was detained by CBP, why her phone was inside an ICE detention center tonight, and where she is now.
Also unclear what happened to the other five people she was detained with at O'Hare airport.
While I understand historic sites are not the immediate concern when lives are at stake, there is still something particularly important about ancient sites of human culture that are almost greater than life, that once lost can never be replaced.
This is a very dangerous war for many reasons

Happening now- the Broadview, IL ICE facility: a few dozen people have gathered here over the bizarre situation re: a US citizen who was allegedly detained by federal immigration agents, only for agents to reportedly say she wasn't there.
