And to clarify, I also have lists that have like… a LOT of shuffling. But I don’t have playtest experience with any of my lists (well all but one list—crazy, I know lol) so I can’t give too much actual firsthand knowledge of playtesting dandans
For the past year or so I’ve approached most of my setbound dandans with modifications to searching effects to avoid shuffling
But in this case, I’m not sure what the alternative of the effect would be. Maybe keeping RS’s shuffle doesn’t negatively impact most players’ experience—idk needs testing
@mishotem.com I think Nick’s reasoning is solid in this thread.
I’ve seen Dandan lists (haven’t played) focused around Hedron Alignment but they’ve been creature-less. Riftsweeper’s shuffle trigger might be too cumbersome over the course of a game or two, but that requires playtesting to feel out
