Wonderful gif there. Love Ivor & eventually the books were read to my grandson who is doing A levels soon!
Best of luck Pam You can do it.
Sadly too many events get cancelled because of lack of volunteers.
I have a letter sent to my late mother in law to congratulate her on the safe delivery of her only child after a traumatic birth on 20 Feb 1949. The post war struggles of new mums comes across strongly.
I have my late mother in laws graduation certificate when she qualified as a teacher from 1930s

I am so sorry to learn of Ian's passing. Please pass on my condolences to his family friends and of course the Men of Worth project
Several years ago showed my elderly neighbour the records of her parents farm. It was rather rude about her dad! But she was delighted to talk about the farm in those years when she served in WRAC
I am looking forward to welcoming anyone interested in family history to our conference. We have some great speakers ready to share their stories.

People need water shocker!!
Let me know when & will try to come & say hello
Sending hugs. We complained to GP practice following death of spouse. Reply raised even more questions than so took it further. 5 months later got sensible response which finally addressed concerns. Hope the lessons truly have been learned.
Late Mr V was a rail enthusiast and our children "endured" many weekend outings so dad could watch trains. As they grew older, bribery was introduced to outings. 50p if we saw a Deltic. The NRM in York was the exception. @rwldproject.bsky.social
I can remember late spouse having to drive from Sandy to Balham on Boxing day several times to collect his parents in 70s & blighted by rail engineering works on ECML even if trains were "technically" running.
Sending virtual hugs. So hard for you both.
Mother Nature's Christmas gift
Merry Christmas to you too Mel

My heart sank when I saw EVRI were delivering my order but they actually managed to find my house but driver was getting back in his car by the time I opened my door
Make sure to look after yourself and remember the good days and not so good days last a long time. Its normal. Each of us copes in our own way.
