Who glued these quarters down?!
Home after a quick jaunt to the PNW. I sure do love mossy trees.
Thinking about listing my #ebooks on @itch.io . Any of my #IndieAuthor friends have experience with this?
One month away!
We need to make opening up author copies a party situation more often.
I feel sad for the moons of Jupiter that didn't get named, just designations.

We're all watching 100s of Beavers, right?
There's always a nice blissful minute when you hit publish. Then you hold your book, open to page one, and find a typo. π§π½ββοΈ
Anyone else have "starting over on social media" fatigue? Because I'm exhausted.
Chain letters making a comeback in 2025.
If you have social anxiety try chopping off a finger. Now youβre bleeding too lol
She's GORGEOUS π π
Check it out! π
So i just finished a book about MLMs and I think we could make this work.
And that the author would be APPALLED this was my takeaway.
π₯Ή Realized my job allows me access to basically ALL the academic journals/collections/databases. I'm gonna learn so much about whatever pops into my head.
So cute π
But looks like snack
I mean. I'll always at least consider it. π€·ββοΈ
Agreed. It's such a bummer every time I try to use it now. βΉοΈ
In conclusion: library workers are magic. All they want is to let you access books. And they will be featured HEAVILY in my future books. (5/5)
That librarian TRACKED ME DOWN. Under a previous name, and a completely different ID and like a 5th grader with the final clue I gripped the scrap of paper she'd written that holy grail of numbers on.
The log in worked! I told everyone. My new supervisor. My partner. The help desk guy. (4/5)
Decided to go on a bit of a walkabout to see if I could convince the library to lend me a book. I was 50/50 on access. Email, no. Campus entry, yes. Printer, no. Gym entry, yes. So I was hopeful.
And bless it, this librarian figured out the whole problem that all the rest of us could not. (3/5)
I called all the people, asked all the questions, made a few self deprecating jokes (they didn't land very well. I think this place truly wants everyone to succeed), tried to make myself useful, drank too much coffee, ate lunch. It was a salad. It was fine. (2/5)
Two days ago I was talking to @jenichappelle.bsky.social about how much we both love a helpful librarian in a children's novel.
Today I started a new job and for the life of me I just could not figure out how to log in to get the dang thing started. (1/5)
5 shows to get to know me:
1. Yellowjackets
2. Our Flag Means Death
3. Battlestar Galactica
4. Lower Decks
5. Buffy
Thank you! I'm excited!!
Starting a new job tomorrow! That actually uses my writing/editing/teaching skills set!!
