if the game hadn't been killed years ago, we all could be doing a raid right now :/
oh heck! i played that with my partner for a while! there's not a ton i genuinely miss, but i had punk storm equipped with the lightning effect and i still miss her
hi from the other thread! i can wholeheartedly recommend josie's book, though it is an incredible downer (the wwe is a very very bad company, but it is integral to understanding why pro wrestling is what it is today).

it's also a blatant Stephen King rip off! though i'm 50/50 on whether he would've written "Rock n Roll Martian" into his...
personally, please don't delete! we're burned out on BAD FAITH discussions specifically, because that tends to happen a lot on here. it genuinely lifts my spirits to see someone from outside the community get it!
well good riddance!
(food post) i made tofu and i think i finally did an iteration of a recipe that i can no longer improve. it's chicken nugget-y in the best way. this, but i also added a 1/2 tsp of maple syrup and a 1/4 tsp of chilli powder. let it marinate AT LEAST overnight, if not a little longer.
(i apparently had her blocked or muted from jump so i have no idea what's going on lol)
the covid compliance meeting from 4.5, easily. beautiful in its simplicity.
the basketball trick shot sequence set to "common people" in 3.5 is a close second.

sunset going wild tonighy but there was also a rainbow to the east over south minneapolis
@scottcrawford.org i did it, 60-ish bucks is a small price to pay for a genuinely cool streaming service. thank you for eventually wearing me down lol
i am gonna have to do something essentially from scratch, cause i never actually decided on anything when we moved so there are a lot of stacks and totes and tapes shoved into shelves π¬
my vhs collection hasn't been organized in a while, and though I'm not buying nearly as many tapes as i used to, i think it's starting to get unwieldy. maybe if i convince myself it's just a fun project and not some necessary cleaning...
i really might have to just subscribe finally, 'cause the tv playing trailers and music videos at the store played a trailer for a movie that's only streaming there. too many signs to ignore now!
(that movie is slaughter day. shot on video ultra bloody no budget action movie!)
i am going to absolutely watch that people's joker. someone went to the trouble making it fullscreen pan-and-scan, i refuse to let that be in vain
a hand awkwardly holding a stack of vhs tapes in a car: DTV Pop and Rock, rock video monthly's december 1993 heavy metal releases, the people's joker, and dance international video magazine issue 2.
bored on the drive home. these are the vhs tapes i got. very excited about that dance magazine; i love discovering a new music magazine tape.
i noticed early on that every movie available on peacock feels like it should only exist on 30 rock, so I'm glad they're still at it
a shelf of boutique release blu-rays in a small store, at an angle. some titles have their front covers facing out include alligator, ace ventura, the castle of fu manchu, and bring me the head of alfredo garcia. in the background, a tv hangs on the wall, playing the trailer for an old horror movie of which i cannot remember the identity. a life sized killer klown statue looms in the corner next to the tv.
we drove up to knoxville to visit the recently reopened grindhouse video and aside from them not having a single copy of tsui hark's double team on any format, it's still a place I'm glad exists.
rob zombie contains multitudes (of don post costume characters)
"sir lord acid wolfman, a-that's what they call me"
!!!
"I'm an alligator/ I'm a space invader/ well, I'm a rock n' roller" is just as funny as "a womp bomp a lou bop/ call me tarantula" as far as I'm concerned, and you can get both on rob zombie's new album!
musician Gary Numan, born March 8, 1958, aged 68
actor Gary Oldman, born March 21, 1958, aged 67
Happy Gary Retrograde everyone!
The next two weeks are the only two weeks out of the year when Gary Numan is older than Gary Oldman
very annoyed at how much pain I'm still in from basically just stretching my arms over my head for 20 minutes four days ago
Now more than ever Iβm convinced losing Anthony Bourdain meant we lost probably the biggest person on tv who advocated for the wonders of meeting new people and calling anyone online who hated learning new cultures the children they were, ruthlessly to the camera.
yes, but we also live in a nonsense world, so...
Sonny Burton is set to be executed by the state of Alabama on Thursday. There is a direct line between a government that murders its own citizens and the devaluing of life abroad. The sin has always started at home.
i have had people i trust recommend proton as a solid one, at least as a starter. given recent news, though, maybe pay cash lol
