Yeah, I try not to overstuff a panel with dialogue. I also try not to overuse 'talking heads' either.
5-6 panels usually looks nice, and there's a lot of fun ways you can lay that out.
If there's a lot of speaking, I'll do 5-8 panels. If there's a lot of action, 1-5 panels.
