Are there any pandoc experts on here that might be able to help me with a somewhat time-critical problem? Can compensate! #pandoc #markdown

new #musicscience collab w/colleagues from stanford! we explored how EEG auditory-evoked responses associated with perception-action coupling in duet piano performance are modulated by false feedback and differing performance conditions (score vs. improvising)

iβll pore over the abstract booklet again!
thatβs very helpful, thank you!
#musicscience folks π΅π§ͺ, does anyone know of any papers where the perceived consonance/dissonance of harmonic intervals with the same width but different tonal implications is tested (e.g. major 3rd vs diminished 4th)?
I did miss my connection but I got rebooked for a new flight today and had a good nightβs sleep in a hotel last night in Doha so not too bad overall
Boston Phil is on break until Feb, but Iβm heading to a residency with the Yogyakarta Royal Orchestra where Iβll direct a program from the violin!
back for attempt #2!
aaaand I missed it and nobody to be seen at transfer desk
I am en route to an exciting 3-week residency in Indonesia with the Yogyakarta Royal Orchestra! But already hit my first snag β flight 1 of 3 is delayed and I may not make my subsequent connections π
Image of an email from a student asking if sources "from the late 1900s" are acceptable.
I will never recover from this student email.
I'm also grateful that there is a venue like the Music Informatics Interest Group for #musicscience scholarship to be recognised at SMT!
Thank you to @shdocea.bsky.social @chriswmwhite.bsky.social and Nicole Cosme for recognising our work! A free PDF version of the paper is available at my website ccrma.stanford.edu/~aditya/adit...
Excited to be making my way to SMT in Denver, where I'm gratefully receiving the award for "Best Essay in Music Informatics Scholarship" from the Music Informatics Interest Group for my recent paper in Cognition with Richard Aslin!
my neighbourhood is giving so much new england-core today
thank you! will do in due course :)
hello #musicscience and psychscisky folks β can i trouble any of you with a power analysis query? i am pretty new to running these and could use some advice on a specific case πππ
John Lafferty taught me intro ML in 2019 and it has completely transformed the way I think about music, cognition and data in general
told myself I'd spend some time running some new models for a corpus analysis this morning, but my old ML professor just emailed me to say that he's been using the PCA on violin mocap data from my article in Music Perception as a pedagogical example for the past few years and now I'm π₯Ίπ₯Ίπ₯Ί
i love how after an audition i can actually listen to the music i had to practise without hating it
i find myself coming back to this article from 1958(!) surprisingly frequently for my diss and while the actual calculations are...unhinged, the ideas are right on #musicscience
