I only remembered bc the last total solar eclipse I was young, dumb, hungover, and looking at the ground while violently puking.

Yeah I remember the last eclipse the ground was scattered with these crescent shaped pinhole projections. Like just in the few moments prior to totality. Would also be cool to capture that natural shimmer like from above.

Oh that’s a neat idea! I saw a short documentary about a ski photographer who shot during totality. It was an incredible logistical feat, plus no room for error. If you could pull that off, I bet it could make the cover of vogue.
