I have had death threats for my work on trans rights. I have been stalked. I have had people try and have me thrown out of my University. I am by no means alone, and lots of trans-inclusive academics have spoken publicly about the violence and harassment they face. But no mention of that here.

I must have blacked out in rage and panic, I don’t remember what I did next! I just know the lectures got re-written, I now use a filing system that I’d be ashamed if anyone else saw, and I check my “recycle bin” once a week 😅
my OneDrive once deleted a full folder of lectures I’d spent a full summer working on. according to IT it was likely because I’d used too many subfolders. now I have an awful filing system limiting the number of folders-within-folders just in fear it will happen again 🙃
