I built a remote-controllable Game Boy Camera selfie stick / tripod. The game controller transmits over Bluetooth to a Pico 2W that's tucked away in the holder and sends commands to the game over the link port.

Momentan baut er nur die Pfade in gcode, aber weder Geschwindigkeit, Feedrate, Tiefe etc kann man bis jetzt einstellen.

Okay. Ich hab bis jetzt nur mit den Sticheln gearbeitet und für Prototypen war ich durchaus zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis. Ich hab gemerkt dass die Spitze leicht abbricht wenn man zu tief geht. Vor allem bei Glasfaser Trägermaterial. Deswegen nehm ich jetzt die Rohlinge aus Phenolharz

I've made quite some progress so far (basic gCode/.nc generation works - including (multiple) offset paths. So my todos are now:
* support Inches (or if too complex at least warn the user :D)
* make the gCode fully parametrized (speeds/feeds/depths/tools/etc)

I'm building my own Gerber viewer/gcode transformer (inspired by Matthias Wandel's YouTube video).

I'm using KiCad 9, which only generates metric gerbers. I think all versions of KiCad (>v4) so so.

Do some of you have some small (old) .gbr files which are in inches I could use for testing?

You do get actual Greyscale instead of just 4 shades of grey.
And especially in these harsh lighting conditions, you get a lot more detail.

I'd set up an initial translation file using an LLM , but someone would definitely need to help verify it's okay afterwards. (we all know LLMs can't be trusted)

It was 9 shots per channel. So 27 in total :) Using the Photo! ROM

Most crucial is the IR-Cut filter, but this one definitly has had some luck involved as well
