Filling out paperwork for my kid at @nationwidekids.bsky.social and spotted a checkbox that said something like “Check here if adopted and no biological information is known.” My whole life of being adopted and filling out forms, I’ve never seen anything like this - wow I was THRILLED. More of this!
People who talk about “student behaviors” as if they’ve magically declined without addressing any of the structural inequities in/around education get a side-eye from me.
“Student behaviors” is a dog whistle used to justify mistreatment of children from marginalized backgrounds.
I really wish this were getting more attention. What Ohio legislators are doing to higher education should prevent them from getting a moment's peace.

The absolute shameless audacity of @housedemocrats.bsky.social asking me for money right now. For what?? What exactly do you need money for?? You’re doing literally nothing! It’s completely free to be as worthless, feckless, and ineffectual as yall are.
I won’t let them make me less empathetic. I won’t be “they got what they voted for” when folx lose their jobs or their 401ks. Even if you don’t care what happens to me and my family, I’m still rooting for you. The only way out of this is allowing those who ushered it in a way to course correct.
