Francis Cottam

This one is 20 this year. So long ago, I was still writing as Francis rather than F.G. Set in 1976, but concerns a WW2 tragedy the central character explores. Enjoyed writing it. Simon & Schuster, this battered paperback my own last copy.

Debut novel. Hadn't seen or spoken to my father for over 30 years when this was published. He read and wrote to me about it. Very complimentary. Just one criticism, entirely valid.
