the remix of “Otherside” with Fences makes me cry like every time I listen to it.

I love St Paul so much for this
Kristi Noem has done a stunning amount of damage and it’s good she’s gone.
But this doesn’t change the fact that we need a complete overhaul of DHS, impartial investigations into the killings of two American citizens, and information on children that were taken from Minnesota.
The Night Watchman is also exceptional
It occurred to me last year that my YouTube account is older than some of the undergrads that I work with 🙃
you *can* mix it with carbonated liquids BUT it can fizz up, and it’s also hard to drink that much carbonation in a short period of time for some people (like myself).
I taught a very kind man how to use MiraLAX last night at work. if you were unaware, you can mix MiraLAX with 6-8 oz of any uncarbonated drink. coffee, juice, kool-aid, water, etc.
I mix it with a flavor packet (like skittles tropical mix-in packets from dollar tree!) and 8 oz of water, personally!
trying to find Sam a therapist who is enthusiastic about working with non-binary/queer folks, but is not someone that is friends with our friends, is more challenging than I’d like!
dril you’ll love to know that a guy i dated for about 2 weeks later named his rat after me. he told me about when i ran into him at a bar 3 years later
hey so, Kash Patel sucks. but you don’t need to be racist against him. you don’t have to make racist statements to show your dislike of the guy. that’s a line you don’t have to cross. plenty of non-race based things about him to dunk on!
I’ve seen enough. Not about the election. Just generally.
you know what I recently realized was fucked up? when I was a senior in high school my gynecologist didn’t believe me that I was a virgin and made me get a Pap smear. she was the one who put me on birth control FOR MY ACNE + PCOS, she knew it wasn't for sex. super weird!
had a dream about perverts in the art world, thanks TrueAnon
I have sciatic pain, I think, and that sucks. I just had surgery to fix the herniated discs in my cervical spine. can I pls get a few years before the lumbar spine starts to act up, too?
I live in a walkable neighborhood for the first time since 2020 and I constantly forget this fact. I can walk to CVS to get nail polish remover right now and it will be a less than 15 minute walk each way. or I could walk 8 minutes, hop on a bus, and get to a Walgreens or Cub or Target.
crazy that I’m literally one degree removed from one of the families who founded the heritage foundation. makes me itchy to be that close to evil (though the person I’m one degree from is apparently nice and not conservative per my family member).
It's genuinely insane that many of the newspaper columnists who cheered us into the war in Iraq are still employed at big legacy outlets cheering us into a new war with Iran.
Kafka understood that an even greater indignity than being turned into a giant insect was still being required to go to work afterward.
shout out to all the teachers out there who have to go into their classrooms and find a way to talk to their students about the war we entered over the weekend without “getting political” and jeopardizing their jobs. my heart goes out to y‘all.
now that my migraines are being treated adequately (six months out from spinal fusion, been on Aimovig for 7 months), I really hope I can drink diet soda. Aspartame has been a trigger for me for decades but I’d love to be able to regularly drink Cherry Coke Zero.
exactly how I feel. shoulder in searing pain? truly sucks, wouldn’t wish it on most people, but there’s plenty of videos of cats doing silly things and women doing manicures + nail art.
one of my coworkers has a black eye from (allegedly) dropping his phone on his face
but I do actually think he got decked. and I’m guessing he deserved whatever led to this situation.
8 for 8 on the 1970s category on the latest Hivemind video 😎
average person cheering for war in iran
I can think of specific kids from countries who are being relentlessly attacked by neighboring lands or terror groups within their homeland.
War. Kills. Kids.
and if it doesn’t kill them, it makes their lives difficult and expensive.
one thing that really sticks with me at work is when we’re treating a kid who was injured in war or terrorism in their home country and fled to the USA for asylum. full limb amputations from bombs. untreated infections because all the hospitals were destroyed. head injuries while fleeing gunshots.
a white woman wearing a Timberwolves city edition purple and blue beanie. she also has brown hair, clear rimmed glasses, and a black sweatshirt.
got this sick Wolves hat from my coworker, I love my country of Minnesota
a.) the new Cherry Sakura Red Bull is real good. I found it at KwikTrip in Hudson, if you’re in that area.
b.) unironically stoked for the Hivemind card game, that’s exactly the type of game I love to play and I purchased it immediately.
it’s almost 11pm, I have to be up in 6 hours, and I’m freaking out that i don’t know where my birth certificate is? not a thing I need to be worried about right now. I can find that tomorrow. what the hell.
yes!
