finally finished the complete rework of translations for 2 short essays Horkheimer wrote (w/ Adorno) printed alongside the 1st version of Dialectic of Enlightenment in 1944:
“Struggle & Non-Violence”; “Poetry & Morals.”
On militants & martyrs, & the crisis of modern art!

I usually try not to be so explicit on bluesky (which still feels more hostile to communists than X) but I’m a hardliner on this & I think it’s a huge problem
While I will never personally be able to rally around the flag unless it’s on fire, I also think any socialist or even nominally “Left” project, org, movement that can’t imagine a world after and without the United States of America is doomed
