The gayest and most controversial thing I’ve sent to a stranger over the @scruffapp.bsky.social app, recently, has been my ranked list of b-way shows that I watched this season. Woof.

Me: How was the audition?

My coworker: Big group. I got cut from the tap call back.

Me: Oh. Did you get lost in the shuffle?

My coworker: go away.

So a guest was just at the shop and she bought 3 books. The first was Topher Payne’s “Angry Fags” the next was Larry Kramer’s “Faggots.”

“Did you come up here just to call me names?” I joked.

“Of course not!l” she smiled.

“Good.”

Then I scanned her copy of “The Ferryman” and said goodbye.
