Hello there, Translunar! Firstly, great to see your mag out there. Secondly, Is there any flexibility with the word count?
Many thanks!
The guidelines say that we're looking for "fun" in the stories. That might mean light-hearted, it might mean serious yet optimistic, it might mean interesting, or brilliantly written. Our latest issue has all of these and more. translunartravelerslounge.com
I know, right?

Heyβyer welcome from the other side of the pond (Ottawa). Keep it up. Will "tune in" again.
Couldn't cue it up see the flick in theatre with the lads (busy parents). Watched Trachtenburg's Killer of Killers (on Disney) last night, tho, and loved Prey, so I might cheat on my inner circle and watch Badlands by meself soon.

Good gods, thank you, The 250! You may be my new fave podcast, with your Irish hosts and erudite, thought-provoking talk about Predator: Badlands. Been dying to see the flick since catching a glowing @ebertvoices.bsky.social summer review.

'If I Had Legs I'd Kick You' is a tremendous addition to that worthy pantheon of non-horror films that manage to be significantly more unsettling than 90% of actual horror films. Bonus points for the terrifying hamster.

Enjoyed hearing @paulkupperberg.bsky.social on @wordballoon.bsky.social.
Ate up Kupperberg's 1980-1984 New Adventures of Superboy as a kid and, later, Vigilante.

News In Photo:
I can only posit that infidelity is good US shorthand for stepping out (if you'll pardon the 1970's musical refemce to Joe Jackson's "Steppin' Out") of one's comfort zone, routines and embracing adventure?

I do so love getting Chantal HΓ©bert's cogent assessment of any cutrent issue. Case in pointβthe US president's attempt to stop the, uh, alreaady constructed Gordie Howe International Bridge.

Finally doing a long-overdue back-to-back watch of Gregg Araki's Teen Apocalypse trilogy. Already saw and The Doom Generation and Nowhere, years back, but not Araki's Totally F***ed Up. Araki was years ahead of his time, depicting Gen X counterculural nihilism, malaise, and fierce queer rep.
Aye! Truer words...
A drawing of three speed skaters (by me!) One is wearing red and white with black accents and the caption "Guy who is either Canadian or Swiss or Austrian or Japanese or Polish or Danish" One is wearing red white and blue and is labeled "Guy who is either American or Norwegian or French or Czech or Slovakian or Slovenian or British" One is wearing neon orange and labeled Guy who is UNDENIABLY DUTCH
God bless the Dutch for this
