Submissions – Dismantling Press

Who has feminist rage & identifies as a woman? Check out this new #nonfiction #CNF #essays call at Dismantling Press.

"This call is intentionally activist. We are interested in work that is unapologetic, incisive, and impassionedβ€”essays that treat fury as legitimate, necessary, and political."

This story drew me in with that first line so quick. Phenomenal writing, the characters are well imagined, and I really enjoyed the MC’s voice. Give it a read if you need a little disturbance to jolt your morning into gear.

@bfbzine.bsky.social I am so excited this came in the mail the other day, and I’ve been enjoying diving into the other wonderful stories and poems published in this beautiful issue. Easily one of the best publishing experiences I’ve had to date. PS- Elyse, I absolutely adore the space whales. πŸ’šπŸ˜πŸ‹

Jaime's at it again with yet another quiet emotion packed story. I'm so glad this one found a home, it's an important story that I hope we never forget. It's beautiful, devastatingly sad, and oh so very human. You should definitely read it.

I feel privileged to have read this story by the talented @jaimegill.bsky.social beforehand, and am pleased (and unsurprised) to see it snapped up by Oyster River. It's one of the most human and emotionally resonant hard science fiction stories I've ever read. A highly recommended read.

I’m obsessed. This pub knocked two writing goals off of my list: artwork and narration. The whole process was transparent from start to finish. The art and narration are perfect! Please go check it out and I highly recommend subbing to them if you have something you think will fit their fun vibe. πŸ€©πŸŽ‰
