Today was the 40th monthly meeting of the Delhi Science Fiction Reading Circle. We returned to @aptshadow.bsky.social with Alien Clay.

The room almost came to blows about whether Kiln really was a [redacted], talked about symbiosis and prison planets - and agreed we need to know what happens next!

Fantastic book.

I looked for shards of the lyrical science fiction writer leaping out of the legal prose, but this is a brilliant work of expository law on its own terms. And +100 for explaining Pashukanis better than Pashukanis.
