For What It’s Worth was written about protest, power, and people being pushed until they push back. Hearing it now, with Minneapolis once again seeing anger spill onto the streets, it lands hard.

I usually try to stay balanced and nuanced in my posts, and yes, Trump and his administration have done far worse over the last 8 months, but there’s something about this that really grates. The sense of entitlement, the tantrum when denied praise… it’s just exhausting, and so predictable.
He needs an “enemy within” to keep his narrative moving.
Migrants done. Elites done.
Now Farage blames teachers .
Middle,class, unionised, and guilty of knowing things.
Nothing frightens a wannabe,demagogue like literacy.
He's importing Christian right, bollocks.
Starmer says Jenrick’s not serious.
He’s serious about one thing, the till.
They’ve done the maths racism pays.
If not that, it’s just racism.
Either way, the bill lands on us.
Call me old fashioned, but I remember when fascists weren’t treated as quirky pundits and the press still challenged liars. Now we’ve got party leaders inventing nonsense about migrants eating swans, and journalists nodding along like it’s the shipping forecast.
Ofcom, meanwhile, is still auditioning for the role of “invisible referee”.
No fines. No bans. Just a polite tut while presenters break every rule in the book.
Britain used to export The Beatles, now it’s exporting bollocks.

I like to imagine that in some alternate universe Springsteen’s in the White House instead of the current fascist cockwomble. They say voters get the leaders they deserve, but in this case, America chose the wrong Boss.
Let’s be clear , migrants have carried the NHS for decades. Without them, it wouldn’t have survived half the crises it’s faced. Britain owes them gratitude, not scapegoating.
