Parade crash driver 'followed ambulance on way to help fan' Merseyside Police provided updates on the incident in a press conference this afternoon

As first reported by the ECHO, now confirmed that the driver of the car that crashed into the LFC parade fans yesterday followed an ambulance on to Water Street

The ambulance had been allowed through the road block to attend to a man having a heart attack
