If @gene4va.bsky.social doesn't pull his head out of his ass I might have to primary him in '28 regardless of my own situation. We can't have our Rep thanking ICE and sending money or weapons to Israel.

In case you hadn't already heard, I've made the disappointing decision to suspend my campaign for US Senate.
I want to sincerely thank everyone that offered support or encouragement during the campaign. It's meant a lot to me.

I'm not sure, but I'll check with the organizer today and see what they have planned.

For anyone interested, there is a Senate candidate forum in Alexandria on Sunday. Right now it looks like all four candidates will have someone there.

@joaquincastrotx.bsky.social is absolutely correct. ICE needs to be disbanded. The tragedy in Minneapolis is exactly what you get when an incompetent and unhinged executive hires an incompetent lackey and puts them in charge of his personal army.

Thanks for pointing me in their direction. I fully support impeaching Trump and would vote for conviction and removal from office. It would be even nicer if we could get the votes actually needed to convict him. At the very least we need to show the world that he does not represent all of us.
