The attack on Iran and the international reactions to it show that we still live in a unipolar world (with a tendency toward bipolarity). All those who claimed that the world was already multipolar or would soon become so have been robbed of their illusions and pipe dreams.
"Vote Reform: all the worst bastards in the country are joining us" is an interesting strategy, and yet I'm sure Farage will be loudly trumpeting this defection.
A German court has ruled that it is legal to state that the man who runs the MΓΌller (Rice) empire is a supporter of the far-right AfD. MΓΌller repeatedly denied it, which says everything about how bad he knew that association could be for his business. I hope the boycotts intensify.
I had a look at Upscrolled, a new alternative to Instagram. Wow! Everyone they don't like is an evil Zionist, Israel should be bombed & the Ayatollahs or Hezbollah are held up as beacons of humanity. It's where the worst elements of the anti-imperialist left converge with conspiracy theorists.
Get yourself an instrument and learn how to play. It's easier than you might think and, unless you're atonal, you'll eventually get there.
He talks about Robin Thatcher, who privatised Sherwood Forest, gave all money to the rich, but promised that the wealth will eventually trickle down to the poor.
What happened to modern Conservatives? What made them collectively lose their marbles?
Good lord. What an abject failure the Blue Labour strategy has been.
I am not dunking on this account but it's important to explain a couple of things that they haven't understood.
There are only two ways to defend against a ballistic missile. Either shoot it down, or stop it launching.
We're not in a position to do the first, which leaves only the second. 1/n
Form other Nazi parties.
Did he write those posts himself? I always thought one of the Chapo guys impersonated him and managed to trick Twitter for some time.
It would be boring if Tottenham got relegated.
It's golden, so it's technically his.
They want the UK to become a vassal of the US, from regulatory alignment to Trumpian politics. This was always the idea behind Brexit, and it still is the idea behind the latest drivel coming out of the mouths of Farage's posh National Front and the Tories.
None of the people in your image are Blue Labour members, though.
She'll probably say that she doesn't care as she prefers Pepsi.
I think Marc Francois or Andrea Jenkyns still want to claim that title. Kemi is simply not a politician and it's weird how she accidentally ended up leading the Conservative Party.
The UK cannot refuel US or Israeli jets as UK tanker aircraft are technically incompatibile with the system the US and Israel use.

It says a lot about the current iteration of the Conservative party when people like Toby Young still have a role in it.
Apart from bashing the left and factional warfare, Starmer and McSweeney didn't have any political philosophy. Blue Labour was very much in line with their campaign strategy, so they resurrected it from the dustbin of failed Labour ideas.
I'm sure one could turn this plot into a cold-war spy thriller in the style of Tom Clancy. π
Tbf, it has been empty for a decade or so. They should tear it down and build proper flats instead of trying to shoehorn a few units into a building that was designed for a different purpose.
It's the neo-Blairites and the Labour right. They are, and have always been, very closely aligned with the authoritarianism of previous Tory governments and the free-marketeer ideology of Thatcherite think tanks.

Is this an oil platform these days?
Sure, but don't you think dying from a nuclear blast is the more exciting option?
Exactly. The population of Denmark is about 6 million people. That's less than the population of London.
To be fair, it's not just Labour. Talking up the 'Danish model' has been popular among former social democratic centre-right European politicians for some time, before Labour joined the choir.
