Statement on Rotunda Hospital Remaining in Parnell Square accompanied by an RTÉ headline Government drops plan to move Rotunda to Connolly Hospital
As a board member of the hospital, I welcome the decision by Government to drop the planned relocation of the Rotunda to Connolly hospital. The Rotunda has been at the heart of Dublin City for over 280 years, and is a key part of the inner city's built and social heritage. Women deserve quality healthcare, in a hospital that is up to the highest standards. A new planning application must be submitted as soon as possible for the critical care unit expansion, so that mothers and new born babies can receive the care they deserve in an appropriate, fit for purpose setting.
Great news! As a board member I’m delighted to see this hospital remain a part of our community, where it has been for literal centuries.

Why are you expressing Europe’s solidarity with Kuwait?
Their undemocratic monarch and the govt he appointed allowed the US to use their military bases in Kuwait to launch an illegal unprovoked attack on Iran.
And it is only those US bases that Iran says it is targeting in its own defence.

Therefore under international law, Khameini was murdered.
Your stance Mdm President is therefore support for criminals who have broken international law.

Meanwhile:

- 15 million are losing health care
- 20 million saw their premiums double
For greater election success, perhaps a merger Jeremy would be the wisest strategic move for Your Party and the Greens?
