Reform UK really are so lucky.
For a party of eight MPs they have the UKβs biggest news broadcaster on retainer.
Here we see their political editor doing the job of a local newspaper reporter.
For Farage.
EIGHT MPs.

I wonder if this u-turn is being reported as breathlessly by Chris Mason as it would be were it regarding Keir Starmer.
Most economists were talking about 2 more interest rate cuts in the next few months. Now they are saying we will probably have a rise. All because of Trumps war with Iran.
My photo shows a Roman floor mosaic depicting an octopus. The octopus is composed of small black tesserae (tiles) and has eight writhing arms with suckers and narrow curling tips. It is set against a white tesserae background. Octopus detail from a monochrome marine mosaic featuring Triton with a cherub and various sea creatures, including the octopus, dolphins and a cuttlefish, at the womenβs changing room at the Central Baths in Herculaneum.
Spectacular octopus from the floor of the womenβs changing room at the Central Baths in ancient Herculaneum.

Oil prices surge, stock markets tumble, chances of a UK interest rate cut wiped out.
In 30 or so minutes, the right wing media and those in between will be blaming Keir Starmer and the Labour government.

Awkward one for the King, but heβs not in the best of health after all β¦
Kuenssberg: it's impossible to report freely and fairly from inside Iran.
What's your excuse for not doing so in the UK, Laura?

Most people skim headlines. If the headlines say βhumiliationβ and βfresh concernsβ week after week, what story do voters absorb about Keir Starmer? Media bias isnβt always about facts β sometimes itβs about frames. Stephen McNair reports

Majority of media undermining our PM as our country teeters on the edge of war. They shout βditherβ and βunderpreparedβ but it was the Party that they supported without question for 14 years that lead us to where we are.
They disgust me.
I've just watched the first few minutes of the BBC 6pm news and Chris Mason, with his appalling, cynical & negative downer of a report on the Govt. over Iran. His language is unworthy of a professional, unbias news service. I turned over to France24, to get a grown up version of the news.
Twice now Starmer has said he's consulted with "allies AND the United States".
He's a skilled lawyer, he knows what he's saying.
There's no reason for Iran to attack NATO nation Turkeyβbut a drone did. Iran denies sending it.
There's no reason for Iran to attack a UK base in Cyprusβbut a drone did. Iran denies sending it.
Now Azerbaijan has been attacked. Iran denies involvement.
I think this is Israel.
Sun headline about Β£500k compensation for migrants, discussing human rights, and public outcry over payouts.
Did you see this headline?
Did you feel the requisite anger and rage at asylum seekers that The Sun was asking of you?
Did you maybe blame Starmer because.... um... it was probably his faultπ€·ββοΈ
Would you like to know the reality behind the headline?
Course you would!π
Let's take a look

I've never observed a wider gap between self-confidence and lack of any actual understanding than in Badenoch. On other topics it can be comical, but when it extends to undermining gov't on matters of national security, in breach of established conventions, it is profoundly dangerous. #PMQs
strikes me that one of the most obvious things this government should do is properly resource regulators. Thereβs a gigantic gap between law and its enforcement, yet politicians always focus on announcing new rules rather than applying the old ones www.thebureauinvestigates.com/stories/2026...
I get the strong sense that the bulk of media are calling Starmer's position on Iran entirely wrongly right now. I simply don't believe that most people out there are either as hawkish as the Tories or as anti-everything as the Greens. Being conflicted in the middle seems about right to me.
Obscene.
This is pretty bold stuff from somebody who got 552 more votes than Sir Oink A-Lot.
The Greens will not know whatβs hit them as soon as the r/w media properly get their teeth into them
Oi - why not π
There has certainly been a change in temperament
What happened to the βniceβ Green Party ?
Attempting to, is a foregone conclusion obviously - βpoor judgementβ by Starmer theyβll howl ..
Itβs sadly so juvenile and predictable isnβt it

The end of plastic gets a step closer with this invention, a replacement for food packaging film, made from plants not oil and therefore doesn't hang around, polluting the planet for thousands of years - it just biodegrades. Nice.

Nigel Farage said in 2022 that MPs defecting to another party and then refusing to call a by-election was
βno go, itβs not right, it is dishonorableβ
So where are the by-elections for all those MPs who have now joined Reform?
Waiting for the BBC analysis
βAndrew arrested: Why this could be a big win for Farageβ
The BBC seem uncertain how to handle the inflation news - possibly good, but let's attack Starmer anyway.
Farage is now a two trick pony.
First there was Brexit, meant to be the best thing for us since sliced bread - result (amongst many things) a 4% hit to our economy.

Hundreds of people have also been evacuated from their homes since last week.
