You have to realize that this game’s patches aren’t normal at all. Splatoon 2 patches failed because they changed too much without toning back any of it for a million years. Splatoon 3 patches fail because they change to little and leave half the rest of the game to rot forever

The meta ACTUALLY shifts so rarely that whenever a weapon gets enough drip feeding after a million patches to actually be not dogwater they throw a temper tantrum because they haven’t fought the weapon since it was last relevant in ye ol patch 2.3.0 of Splatoon 2
