I have not been this sore in a looong time. 60km long and over 4 hours in the saddle. Celebrating with pizza. My fitness coach can hush; I worked my ass off for this pie.

The living room is my cat's safe spot. He sleeps there, plays there, gets his treats there. Forward Operating Base Beeko, as it were.

So, I've been sleeping there on the bean bag to bond with him some more. Turns out, I now prefer sleeping there. Haven't spent a night in my real bed for a week.

I haven't presented/defended a website design to a client since the late 90s (when the Earth was still cooling and dinosaurs roamed freely). Feels good to step out of my comfort zone. Just a little.

One week anniversary of adopting Beeko. The progress he's made is amazing, but we still have a long way to go before he's his best Beeko self.

He's gone from hiding in the spare bedroom to sleeping on the couch and coming over for aggressive headbumps.

My new cat, Beeko. A large black and white long-haired cat.

My house has been sans cat for 80 days. I brought home this monster yesterday. Now, my house is a home once again.

His name is Beeko, Argonian for "friend." He's incredibly shy, but very calm and gives good head bumps. And he's huge, the biggest cat I've ever had.
