The Environment Agency is under-resourced but vital for keeping our environment clean.

Reform wants to cut funding for these crucial organisations, risking more pollution and fly-tipping. We need proper funding, not more cutbacks.

I have written to the Chair of the Nursing and Midwifery Council to raise concerns about the proposed 19% fee increase. At a time of cost-of-living pressures and NHS staffing shortages, this risks harming recruitment, retention and morale. Nurses and midwives deserve better.

The Daily Mirror reports that of nearly 1 million urgent dental appointments commissioned by ICBs since April, 900,000 have not taken place.

I asked the Minister when he expects to reach the Govt's target on urgent dentistry appointments.

Limiting social media for under-16s is a significant decision. I am clear that far more action is needed to keep young people safe, but I felt the LibDem motion tonight - while well intentioned - was not the right approach.

I was glad to meet Christian Aid and Christian Climate Action campaigners outside Parliament opposing the Rosebank oil field.

Drilling for new oil fields makes no sense in a time of climate breakdown. All MPs have a responsibility to take the action needed for a safer future.

Reform want ICE-style deportations in the UK — the kind that have wreaked havoc in the US.

Instead of standing up to this Trump tribute act, Labour is echoing it. And it won’t fix what’s broken. Inequality is the problem — and only the Greens have a plan to confront it.

It's time to end the failed privatisation experiment and bring water back into public hands.

Dear Pat,
As Green Party MPs and Peers, we are writing to you regarding the Universal Credit (Removal of Two Child Limit) Bill.
Green Parliamentarians welcome the long-overdue decision to remove the cruel two child benefit cap, and we want to put on record our thanks to all of the campaigns and individuals with lived experience of the cap who have worked tirelessly to push the government to this point. This cap should have been scrapped on day one of this Parliament, and it is shameful that 330,000 children were kept in poverty unnecessarily while action was delayed.1
Ahead of the Autumn Budget, when talking to BBC Radio 5 Live, Chancellor Rachel Reeves said: “I don’t think that it’s right that a child is penalised because they are in a bigger family, through no fault of their own.”2
We wholeheartedly agree with this statement, which is why we are extremely concerned that the Government is refusing to consider scrapping a second harmful policy that restricts social security support for some children: the household benefit cap.
Your Department’s own impact assessment for the Universal Credit (Removal of Two Child Limit) Bill says 50,000 families will see no financial gain at all from the removal of the two- child limit because they are subject to the household benefit cap. Another 20,000 families in the first year will see only a partial gain before the cap applies to them as well.3
As a result, over 200,000 children living in deep poverty will continue to be penalised simply because they are part of a larger family. This directly contradicts the principle articulated by the Chancellor and undermines the stated aim of lifting children out of poverty.
The Green Party is calling on you to make the right decision now, rather than relying on a future U-turn, and to widen the scope of the Universal Credit (Removal of Two Child Limit) Bill to remove the household benefit cap. No child should be de

Green MPs and Peers have written to the Government calling for the household benefit cap to be scrapped alongside the two-child limit.

Because lifting one cap while keeping another will still leave over 200,000 children in deep poverty.

Child poverty is a political choice — not an inevitability.

It's so important that hope triumphs over division in this election.

Both the independent polls say it will be close between Greens and Reform.

The UN has called the horrors in Sudan ‘hallmarks of genocide,’ with thousands brutalised and killed.

The UK cannot continue to fail our legal and moral obligations to prevent genocide - we must act to prevent further atrocities and to hold those responsible to account.
