Big upgrade to bugs all around in Gen 2. They finally started becoming respectable.

Scizor for the win!
Yeah, I can definitely agree on that!
This was harder than I expected!
1. Breath of the Wild
2/3. Majora's Mask
2/3. Ocarina of Time
4. Wind Waker?
5. Original NES Zelda?
Surprised to see Wind Waker as number 1. Great game, just wouldn't expect it so high. What is it that puts it there for you?

This is a great under-the-hood look at game design!
My design process usually goes like this:
The box cover for the board game Evenglow. It is a painting of a potion bottle in a wooded setting. Half of the box is blueish, half is pinkish, split down the center. At the top is the word, "Evenglow."
A table at the New York Toy Fair with the board game Evenglow laid out.
π I am beyond thrilled to announce that my game Evenglow (nΓ©e Potion Patch) will debut at GenCon '26 with The Op, with art by ClΓ©mentine Campardou (who you might know as the artist behind Wyrmspan, Floriferous, Origin Story and more).
This is it, folks. The dream, come true.

Crankin' out some Pencil Book Quest and desperately trying not to get sidetracked by other cool projects!
Here's my workflow:
For every one (1) project I *almost* finish, I get to start two (2) new projects!
I call it "the road to endless possibilities"!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: cupcakes are too tall!
I'm definitely a fan of the Crew and LOTRFQTRITTGHIOFEKSPXENKE π
I second that the game has an incredible art style!
close up of a bag of party cups. A badge on the bag says "now 35% stronger"
Me, after I go to the gym once:
Wait, is that your own? It looks good! The style is very calming.
Well well well, looks like Rucksack made the highlights list alongside Pyrotechnics, by @backwardscapgames.bsky.social and @thinkdeepplaylight.bsky.social!
If you haven't checked out @natewarren.bsky.social's Break Up Gaming Society, you really should.

Haha! You gotta tap into the density of cats to get the inertial spin necessary for peak paradox generation!
A cat in falling position with a piece of buttered toast strapped to it's back. Underneath are the words "The Buttered Cat Paradox".
Nothing much for me other than producing massive amounts of Pencil Book Quest!
As a little treat, I decided to enter "The Buttered Cat Paradox" into BGG's Nanogame contest.

Apespionage is so good though! You just reminded me that I'm pretty sure I asked this question years ago, and you came up with that gem then as well. Adding it into the options to ask my wife!
Digital tabletop with cards laid out. In the center is a 3x3 grid of square cards that contain different fruit on them. Around the edges of the table are cards stating your agent number.
I have a light game about being international monkey spies that are trying to collect as much of their target fruit as possible without their secret identity being blown.
Which of these names do you like best?

That was me with the duvet cover for so long! I looked up a video on how to change it and I was definitely an idiot, haha!
We got a lot of packages leading up to Christmas, so my daughter and I decided to cut out and paint a little fireplace out of two of them.
We had a lot of fun and may just have to do "Cardboard Christmas" again next year!
Well that's just reasonable. Now add a meaningless silent "e" at the end and you're really cooking.
Secretly swirlie-ing himself the way Reverend Dimmesdale branded himself with an "A".
Oh yeah, that looks great!
Hey everyone!
Pyrotechnics will be pre-launching on 12/31. Publisher: @thinkdeepplaylight.bsky.social
You can register for a launch email here: www.seahorseandhummingbird.com/shop/pyrotec...
This is a tight little 2-player, resource management game.
Thanks!

(Gotta love it!)
Ah yes, the coziness of someone screaming strangely while everyone guesses what unearthly monster they are.
Interesting! I havent played those. What quality of life improvements did they make?
Yeah, I played leaf green and felt that it was ok, but just not really intriguing to me. ORAS sounds pretty awesome.
Oh wow thatβs a lot! I had no idea
