I guess, disregarding overall political values, you can put competent continuity managerialism and revolution as polar opposites. If managerial incompetence in leadership leads to a whole bunch of ‘the now’ getting chucked into a skip fire, I wouldn’t want to rule out seeing what that looks like.

As an ex-Labour member I find it interesting that there seems to be widespread political acceptance that the Tories have self-immolated and won’t be back for a decade, maybe a generation, maybe never. But Labour are still saying they can turn it round in a couple of years. 1/2
Going way back I’m sure I remember that Mansell became a little ‘portly’ in his latter years and had to have adaptations made to the car. Much worse now.
Lovely and heartfelt. What parliament clearly needs is fewer vacuous policy suits and more humans. Even if you don’t agree with her politics you should at least recognise that.
