Just watched it last night & didn’t find it scary. But it depends on what’s scary to you - I hate jump scares, gore, & scenarios I can imagine myself in. None of that was beyond my limits. (happy to answer questions, I just don’t want to blurt out spoilers)
Also from there & I thought “again?” (Patrick Lyoya immediately came to mind)
I watched a hearing for the current case in Michigan & the people in charge (allegedly) just egregiously ignored safety standards. Now RFKjr doesn’t even want families to know this sort of treatment doesn’t work as an autism treatment?!
Most of the rest of mine are safety data questions, like what’s the longest interval between intro of an aircraft & discovery of a critical design/manufacturing flaw? And I’m curious about age & gender stats in GA accidents but that would require hours/miles flown to be broken out by age/gender 🤷🏼
I think I answered one of mine by looking up how to ask the question - when would the pilot of a basic light prop plane on a 15k ft runway even say V1 since the max speed is low & stopping distance is short? BUT v1 is also speed at which they can still safely take off if the engine fails (??)
(Not the first & won’t be the last such jet. Only noticed because it sounds different from daily jets. I can notice more jets if that’s needed 🤷🏼)
Jet plane just landed nearby; I suspect nefarious purpose given what else is nearby, plane owner, landing spot, current events.
If I wasn’t talking about Octopussy arriving on behalf of Goldfinger, what would I do with this info? Assume others already know?
It’s one of my dreams in life to stay there. Been rewatching the James Bond movies this week so the desire is extra strong (so many cave walls)
[long version] Without Canada-made planes, DCA traffic might finally match up with the level 9 ATC tower downgrade they got years ago. Weird solution but it skips the FAA faffing about so… it’ll be safer? But a bunch of congress members will be stuck in DC or have to go to awful Dulles to get home 😫
DCA & its airspace would be less busy so… win?

congrats to the seahawks but I just went through a devastating rollercoaster of emotions when the fireworks started
does it count if the delay includes rest for a timed-out crew?
We definitely didn’t evolve to live on Mars and yet
What am I gonna read on the plane after using up my ample pre-boarding airport time choosing? Would I have survived college without the Star Trek TNG mass market novels I could buy from the college bookstore when academic reading had me burnt out?
Kaiju? Subbed, I’m gonna learn Japanese.
I’m gonna agree, bisexually
Also my power company said food in the fridge is ok for 24 hours without power, so I’ve sent an email to the health department because that doesn’t sound right
I think if the power company turns off your power for more than 2 hours for a non-emergency, they should have to bring you a hamburger
This was, for awhile anyway, a thing in Michigan because auto injury no-fault was unlimited & would cover accessible housing. My sister’s sister in law had an accessible home built on her parents’ land after her spinal cord injury. When I worked in claims, remodels were also possible.
What is the fetish? I need answers
I know I don’t even fully get all of it because I grew up in West Michigan & only lived in Detroit & a suburb for a few years. Like, my local lawyer ads had buffalo with an Aaron Copland soundtrack, Detroit had something different BUT we all shop at Meijer & have feelings about the Red Wings
My 13 yr old knows (& could describe it as roughly east of Colombia & west of the guyanas) buuuut he spends time staring at his globe every day

I am going to poke my pinky nail into the slit. You’ve been warned.
Two schism in one year seems wild!
My dad had a 1954 truck for awhile too, and it had shag carpeting lining the walls! The ‘57 he had for a long time, rebuilt after a t-bone crash (took a year, with family connections to a junkyard in AZ), drove daily then stopped in winters (tires $$$). Sold it to my cousin several years back
Looks like Michigan was 1996, with the nationwide ban. Sometime after that dad replaced the engine with one from a t-bird so he might’ve replaced valves etc so it could take unleaded
