I used to ghost through glass towers, soft-footed and silent, dismantling economies with a swipe of claw. Back then, they called it sabotage. I called it pruning.
Now, I garden.
I bury coins to grow marigolds. I teach the young ones how to spot good soil—loamy, alive, cooperative.
But the Whisperers remembered otherwise. The first to plant seeds in shadows. The first to refuse the wheel. The first to dream of more. They passed their hope paw to paw, claw to beak, breath to branch—until every creatures held something radiant inside them.
We called it the Wildlight.
We called it the grind.
It told us we were alone.
It told us rest was weakness.
It told us softness was for prey.
There was a time—though many of our youngest find it hard to believe—when the world belonged to the hoarders. The Takers. The hollow-hearted kings of coin and concrete. They built towers with no nests, machines with no mercy, and rules that carved the joy from the marrow of the earth.
We will plant.
We will build.
We will make and mend.
We will dream aloud and in color.
We will resist the machine with every fiber of our being.
And in time,
we will wrap the world in a quilt made by the people,
for the people.
To the dragons: you have mistaken gold for glory.
You cannot eat your hoard.
You cannot love it.
It will not sing to you when the lights go out.
We are here to take back the glimmer.
We are here to make things beautiful again—not for profit,
but because we are human, and beauty is our birthright.
We believe that true wealth is in connection, craft, community, and care.
And that no ledger can measure what we lose
when greed is allowed to define the terms of life.
We believe beauty is a right, not a commodity
It is food for the spirit
It is how we remember we are alive
We believe high quality is not for the few
It is what happens when care is valued more than speed
When makers are honored, not exploited
When the earth is treated as a partner, not a resource
We do not want a system that hoards.
We want a world that weaves wonders.
We want a quilt.
Not an endless mass-produced blanket of sameness,
but a living, breathing tapestry of humanity—
stitched together by many hands, each patch a story,
each thread a conscious decision towards common good.
They have taken the fire of human creativity and caged it in profit margins.
They have paved over our gardens to sell plastic trees.
They have convinced us that ugliness is efficient,
that art is a luxury, and that joy must be earned.
We say: enough.
A MANIFESTO AGAINST THE MACHINE
We are told that capitalism brings abundance.
But what we live in is not abundance—it is starvation with a shiny filter.
A world of crushed color, choked beauty, and endless sameness,
while the dragons sit, bloated and useless, on their mountains of gold.
