Since things are already bad, maybe now is the time for net payer states (= blue states) to consider holding their residents’ federal income tax payments in escrow until ICE and DHS back the fuck down.

I need y’all to realize this. Black people experience this lack of visibility all the time when it comes to being victims.
Your rights: To make decisions re: care & custody of child @ time of arrest; to be kept near your child & stay in touch while detained; to ask for help to make plans for your kids; to be part of their welfare court case while in detention; to decide if they will stay in US & make care arrangements.
