Agreed- with everything here- I think neurocog and social cog dimensions might be needed. There isn't really an self-social dimension here-- externalizing, I guess? but neither that nor thought disorder captures the social cog stuff happening for folks w psychosis or other groups.

This is probably partly about prenatal experiences- in my field, flu during 2nd trimester (more likely if baby due spring/summer) negatively impacts brain health and increases schizophrenia risk. People with schizophrenia die about 20 years earlier than overall pop.

Reading the paper in Cell about how to close the scissor plots in gender representation at senior academic positions, I feel just a touch of pessimism. Having reached a level of seniority (middle management) I didn’t think I ever would, I read these great ideas wanting more, much more /1.
