Also dipped back into DmC for some reason; it's OKAY. I know it's beating a dead horse, but the biggest hurdles are the weapon controls. I think it's a fine example of game designers working on a game for so long that they forget that holding a controller like Armored Core actually kind of sucks.
My suspension of disbelief is usually held, but I feel like Eve is made out to be way too hapless and stupid. Characters are shown to have super strength, but Eve takes fall damage (why??), unable to open simple chainlink doors, and other simple ledges are the biggest pain points so far.
Restarted Stellar Blade; progress is frustrating because environment contrast is too fine to make out interactables. Scan is WAY too short, long cooldown, and the outlines are barely visible. I turned on high contrast so I could just plow through the first chunk.
Also no cutscene skip lol.
